PAPA SAN Vittore The Martyr (? - 199), born in Africa, elected in 189, buried in St. Peter's. He stared at the Easter Sunday following the fourteenth day of the March moon. It was also the first to use Latin in official writings of the Church, instead of the greek as usual then. Commemoration on July 28th. Postcard chromolithographic n. 249 from the 'Collection of the Popes Romans' dedicated to Pope Pius X and blessed by Him. Rome, October 1903.
