POPE MARTIN V (1368-1431), aka Otto Colonna, born in Rome, elected in 1417, makes his triumphant entry into Rome in 1420. His election, which took place during the Council of Constance, he had marked the end of the Schism 'West, and with him the Curia returned to Rome after 135 years of absence.
