PAPA CLEMENTE XII (1652-6 February 1740) born Lorenzo Corsini was born in Florence, elected in 1730. His remains rest in the chapel dedicated to St. Andrew Corsini, who erected in St. John Lateran, decorated by the sculptor messinese Simone Martinez and his son Francis, and in which is placed the marble Pietà by Antonio Montauti. Postcard chromolithographic n. 11 from the 'Collection of Roman Popes' dedicated to Pope Pius X and blessed by Him. Rome, October 1903.
