Kurt Christoph VON SCHWERIN (26 October 1684 - 6 May 1757), Prussian field marshal, one of the most important generals of Frederick II of Prussia. A cultured and human knight, a lover of art and sciences, he concluded as a field marshal general of the Prussian army, and with the appointment as count, the brilliant military career that began at the age of sixteen as a second lieutenant in the Pomeranian army.
