SAN TOMMASO DIDIMO (I century BC - July 12, 72), an apostle, popularly known to have very humanly questioned the Resurrection of Christ, to whom he believed after having literally touched the plague in His costum (John 20: 24-29). Later he performed his work of evangelization in Syria, Mesopotamia, China and southern India. Traditionally commemorated on 21 December, the day of death (Dies Natalis, birth in the sky) according to Sant'Isidoro of Seville, liturgical reform places its memory on July 3, the day of translation in Edessa in 230.
