SAN REMIGIO of Reims (circa 437 - January 13, 533), with the help of the Queen of the Franks Santa Clotilde and Saint Gildard, the creator of the conversion and baptism of King Merodingo Clodoveo I. The liturgical memory of San Remigio traditionally uses the October 1, the day of the relocation of relics from Lucca to Fosdinovo; on the same day, until the 1970s in Italy, classes began in all schools of every order and degree: the children who for the first time in the first grade experienced this experience were therefore affectionately called "remigins". Commemoration on January 13, the day of death (Dies Natalis, birth in the sky), according to the Roman Martirolio of 2001, while remaining on October 1 in the extraordinary form of the Roman rite. Colored Etching, Italy 1886
