HOLY FILOMENA (circa 291 -304) Devotional image depicting the Holy Martyr lived in the Early Christian era, with the symbols of his martyrdom: scourge, arrows, lily and again. It is said that her, Princess of Corfu, invaded the emperor Diocletian, who in the face of his rejection motivated by the vow of chastity made to Christ made him suffer the torture of the flagellation (whose wounds healed miraculously), of the drowning Which he escaped for the providential break of the anchor which he should have dragged down), the transfusion (which did not kill him because the deviated arrows did not hit the mark); Finally, he ordered the decapitation.
