Annelies FRANK (June 12, 1929 – February or March 1945) portrait of Anne Frank, a German Jewish girl who emigrated with her family to Holland to escape Nazi persecution. She lived with them in an attic in Amsterdam for two years. Despite this, she was captured and deported to the Bergen-Belsen camp, where she was murdered. Author of an autobiographical diary that her father, the only survivor of the family, had published in 1946.
