Oswald von Wolkenstein (1377-1445) tirolese composer of danced; been born to Schöneck [Val Pusteria] in 1377. Of noble family, still boy gave himself to travel the world earning itself the life like knight to the money of foreign gentleman, in Lithuania, Turkey, Spain, Italy. In the second part of its life he had an important role in the resistance of the tirolesi feudatari against the Duke Federico II “from the empty pockets”. He died in the castle of Hauenstein [Tirolo] in 1445.
