Explorer English, pertaining to an ancient Scottish family. At the age of 38 decided to leave to the search of sources of the Nilo, the Africa North passed to all the life then exploring, assimilating some the languages and the culture. He was the author of the translations of the Bible in Amharic, official language Ethiopian and in Ge'ez the language of the Kushiti shepherds.
