caption: ANTI-SEMITISM FASCISM The Manifesto of Italian Racism, elaborated in 10 points and signed by a group of university professors, under the aegis of the Ministry of popular culture, in the summer of 1938. In this text they theorized (showing a self-styled scientific basis) l existence of distinct human races, the Aryan origin of the Italians and the non-belonging of the Italian Jews to the Italian race. Detail from page 1 of the first issue of "The Defense of the Race", a fortnightly regime magazine directed by Telesio Interlandi (20 October 1894 - 15 January 1965), founded in conjunction with the promulgation of racial laws to condition public opinion by spreading the artificial reasons for Italian racism. Year I, No. 1, Rome, August 5 of the 16th year of the fascist era (1938)
