caption: TERRORISM Attack on the PAC (Pavilion of Contemporary Art) in via Palestro in Milan, flowers placed on the pavement near the place where the explosive car that killed the municipal police officer Alessandro Ferrari on 27 July 1993 was parked, the 3 policemen fire Carlo La Catena, Sergio Pasotto and Stefano Picerno, who intervened to discover the bomb, as well as Moussafir Driss, a homeless Moroccan who was sleeping unaware on a bench. The criminal act, traced back to ''Cosa Nostra'', is considered a retaliation against the fight against the mafia, in the context of the series of attacks which between 1992 and 1993 also targeted judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, among others.
