EUCALYPTUS Eucalyptus Globulus L., Myrtaceae family. It has antiparasitic, antidiabetic, tonic, astringent, balsamic, sedative, and anti-catarrhal properties. The leaves are harvested between June and October. Once cleaned, the leaves are dried in the sun for a few days and then stored in bags. Infusions of the leaves are used for both internal and external use. In Italy, eucalyptus can only be grown in the coastal areas and in the center-south of the country.
