caption: TURIN view of the pavilions built for the ''Italia '61'' exposition organized to commemorate the 1st centenary of the unification of Italy. The most important structures are: ''Palazzo del Lavoro'' designed by Pier Luigi Nervi and Gino Covre, with a characteristic roof made up of 16 gigantic umbrella structures; ''Palazzo a Vela'' by Annibale and Giorgio Rigotti, Franco Levi and Nicola Esquillan with a large hexagonal vault on three supports. Of lesser visual impact, but of great refinement are the ''Pavilions of the Regions'' by Nello Renacco. Turin, 1961.
