ROME The Capitoline Wolf suckles the twins Romulus and Remus. To the original bronze from the 5th century BC, probably of Etruscan manufacture, which represents only the she-wolf, were added the two infants attributed to Antonio del Pollaiolo (c. 1431 – 4 February 1498), in the 15th century.
