Giacomo MATTEOTTI (22 May 1885 – 10 June 1924), Italian politician, journalist and anti-fascist, secretary of the United Socialist Party, who fell victim to the aggression of a fascist squad after his denunciation in parliament of the illegalities committed by the nascent dictatorship of Benito Mussolini. The coffin carried in procession at the funeral, held in Fratta Polesine. August 1924.
