SE Costanzo CIANO (30 August 1876 - 26 June 1939), count of Cortellazzo and Buccari, Italian military and politician, father of Galeazzo Ciano. Minister of Posts and Telegraphs since 1924, to which the Ministry of Communications was added with the advent of radio in Italy, in 1928 he constituted the Italian Entity radio auditions (EIAR). Portrait with the right hand tucked in the jacket posing "Napoleonic"; according to a widespread theory this gesture may indicate its belonging with a high degree to a Masonic lodge.
