Shades of green, indigo, and red for the subjects; purple for the background (see also SEATED FEMALE NUDE). The sophisticated process of arbitrary creative coloring was conceived by Ando Gilardi (1921 - 2012) #andogilardi in the 1970s, a photographic technique of great expressive power and versatility, with results that can be defined as precursors of subsequent digital processing.
