caption: ITALY ''The body of Giacomo Matteotti found in a bush 22 kilometers from Rome buried at the base of an oak tree''. Since 10 June there had been no news of Giacomo Matteotti (22 May 1885 – 10 June 1924), Italian deputy, journalist and anti-fascist, secretary of the Unity Socialist Party, who had been kidnapped before the eyes of several witnesses, and then murdered by a fascist team led by Amerigo Dumini, in retaliation for his denunciation in parliament of the illegalities committed by the nascent dictatorship of Benito Mussolini. The news of the discovery of the remains on the front page of the newspaper ''Avanti!'', newspaper of the Socialist Party. Italy, Sunday-Monday 17-18 August 1924.
