caption: EMIGRATION Souvenir photo taken at the end of a hunting party celebrated at the home of the young couple posing in the center, Italian emigrants from a family from Cassano d'Adda (Milan). Apart from the young couple, the other participants assume bizarre, slightly theatrical poses: the man on the left is riding a rocking horse with great seriousness, holding the rifle by the barrel, resting on his thigh; the man behind the couple is brandishing a stick with the tip pointing upwards; the young man who is holding the woman around the waist, with the other hand is holding a cube balanced on his knee, perhaps a percussion/friction instrument to accompany his neighbor who is playing the accordion; the man standing behind the latter is ostentatiously posing in profile; the man crouching in the foreground is also in profile, with his back to the photographer while he is aiming at an invisible target.
