title: THE SIGN OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER

subject date: 2022-11-07

state: Palermo

caption: PHOTOGRAPHER teaches very essential for the shop of a craftsman who probably performed portraits and photographic services for ceremonies. Traced with paint on the stone wall, it identifies, together with the house number, the precarious wooden door that opens onto a courtyard where white sheets are spread out. A woman is coming out with her daughter, who is wearing a shawl and a pretty white bonnet over her good coat; they both have a very serious expression. Photography by Ando Gilardi (1921 - 2012) #andogilardi. Palermo, 1957.
