Orso I Partecipazio (9th century - 881), 14th Doge from 864 to his death, after having obtained the election of his son Giovanni to the co-regency. Giovanni II Partecipazio (IX century - 887) 15th Doge from 881 to his death. In the background: Church of S. Marco, begun to be built in 828 to honor the rediscovered body of S.
