caption: ARBITRARY COLORS chromatic processing of the first color telephotograph of Italy and the Mediterranean transmitted to Earth by the American meteorological satellite Tiros in the 1960s. Tones of green, blue, orange, yellow and white. The sophisticated arbitrary creative coloring procedure was conceived by the author in the Seventies, a photographic technique of great expressive power and declinability, with results comparable to subsequent digital processing.
