title: COLOR G - FEMALE NUDE WITH ARMS CLOSED IN A CIRCLE IN SELF-PORTRAIT

subject date: 2025-12-01

caption: ARBITRARY COLORS chromatic elaboration of an anamorphic female nude produced with a self-timer and a fish-eye lens: the particular conformation of the image means that when doubled, rotated and superimposed it creates the illusion of a sort of garland, or human ouroboros (see also FSNgilardi_78894.jpg). Black background, shades of blue, green and white. The sophisticated process of arbitrary creative coloring was conceived by the author in the 1970s, a photographic technique of great expressive power and declinability, with results comparable to subsequent digital elaborations. Color G by Ando Gilardi (1921 - 2012) #andogilardi, Milan, circa 1975.
