Involved in Milan in the riots of San Martino, in the evening Renzo gets drunk at the Osteria della Luna Piena, and the host takes him to sleep to save him from the controversy with the other patrons; after locking him in the room, he will go and report him to the authorities, as he did not want to reveal his name, and the next morning they will come to arrest him. Illustration for chapter XV of the historical novel composed by Alessandro Manzoni (7 March 1785 - 22 May 1873) in the first half of the 19th century. Chromolithography, Milan, around 1925.
