In common, however, they have a lifestyle based on a deep knowledge and respect for the environment, and the lack of recognition of their territorial rights. According to Survival International, the global movement for the rights of indigenous peoples, as long as these rights are not recognized, outsiders and states can continue to appropriate their land, on which they depend to survive.
