caption: Giancarlo ILIPRANDI (March 15, 1925 – September 15, 2016) was an Italian designer and graphic designer; among his many activities, he was the art director of the magazines Popular Photography Italiana and Phototeca. In this montage, he is portrayed in his studio the year he was awarded the Compasso d'Oro Lifetime Achievement Award, during filming for the documentary-video interview "Officina Phototeca," edited by Giuliano Grasso.
