caption: DRINKING WATER typical public fountain spread in the capital of Piedmont, called "Toret"; literally, in the Piedmontese language "toretto", small bull (which is the animal emblem of the city), as the water flows from the mouth of the small bovine head that protrudes from the upper part. First appeared on July 17, 1862 in the new capital of the young Italian unitary state, made of cast iron and painted in the characteristic green bottle, the fountains are much loved by the Turinese, who reacted with strong opposition to the hypothesis of administration to replace them with new stone models. Represented in the tourist souvenirs, together with the Mole Antonelliana and the gianduiotto, an App was also dedicated to them to identify the nearest "toret". Turin, 2018
