Ten years after the end of the Second World War, the rotogravure offers an unprecedented series of shocking documentary reports on the Shoah. In the image, a photomontage shows Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler (1889 – 1945) in ceremonial dress shaking hands with an obsequious Nazi officer, against the backdrop of a gruesome pile of extermination victims.
