Senator Giovanni Roveda (4 June 1894 - 17 November 1962) anti-fascist, trade unionist and Italian politician, Deputy of the Constituent Assembly, president of the National Confederal Assistance Institute, at the speakers' table with a little girl from the ''Francesco Biancotto' Institute ', boarding school for orphans of partisans and workers founded by the ANPI and innovatively curated by Girolamo Federici and Lia Finzi. Drawings, paintings, ceramics, constructions, knitwear, embroidery, toys: this is what the very young people presented at the competition launched by the CGIL on the theme ''Observing the work of men, observing nature''. More than 700 participating children - 385 of them in drawing alone - exhibited their creative works in an atrium of the Palazzo dei Congressi; with this very lively testimony, the children of the workers marked the complete success of the competition.
