St. VIATORE (IV century - December 14, 370), bishop of the diocese of Brescia and bishop of Bergamo. According to the hagiographical tradition, the eagerness San Narno (end of III century - about 345), the first bishop of Bergamo, who returned tired and tried by the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, wanted to appoint his successor; when Viator, then bishop of Brescia, went to find him, he asked him to leave his diocese to take care of that bergamasca, and he piously submitted himself to his will. The commemoration at the time of the press was celebrated on December 14, the day of death (Dies Natalis, birth in the sky), the Roman Martirolio of 2001 fixes liturgical memory on January 15.
