caption: THE ADVENTURES OF SIGNOR BONAVENTURA the famous, lucky character who is always richly rewarded for his talents of honesty and righteousness. As a traveling salesman, our hero is on a train, but the bumps cause him to drop the sample on his head, so he assures him of a mysterious ring hanging from the ceiling; At next jerk the luggage falls again and pulls the ring, which turns out to be the alarm that instantly stops the train, fortunately only one meter away from a gentleman who had fallen asleep on the rails. The story ends with the incautious but generous lord who rewards for the service rendered by Mr. Bonaventura, as usual, with the exorbitant figure of One Million.
