The Mad Hatter is portrayed as a German with the spiked helmet and a cigar in his mouth, while the peaceful March Hare is replaced by a fierce wolf, and together they try to put the Dormouse into the teapot-Citizen; on the table, as a headquarters, they are scattered sheets and strips of teletypes with uninterrupted war reports.
