caption: VER SACRUM Austrian magazine founded in January 1898 by Gustav Klimt and Max Kurzweil, the official organ of the Vienna Secession; was published in the periodical circulation until 1903. As the ancient ritual of the Italic 'Sacred Spring' he was promoting the separation of the younger generation for the formation of new colonies, so the magazine symbolically accompanied the young artists of the Secession in detachment from the Academy of Fine arts, towards the formation of new stylistic currents.
