The motto of the newspaper coined by Tito Livio Cianchettini, founder of the first version ''Il Travaso delle Idee'' in 1869, was: ''Accidenti ai capezzatori'', where ''capezzatori'' meant members of the ruling classes who attempted to impose the ''capezza'' (halter) on the people like ''a beast of burden''.
