The Statute of the Kingdom was the constitutional charter granted on March 4, 1848, by Charles Albert (October 2, 1798 – July 28, 1849), by the Grace of God, King of Sardinia, Cyprus, and Jerusalem. After unification, it was valid in the Kingdom of Italy until the approval of the Constitution of the Italian Republic in 1947.
