TOTOCALCIO (Football Pools) betting slip for the last competition linked to the football championship for the 1949/1950 season. Contrary to tradition, the list includes 10 Serie B matches and a national team friendly; to reach 12 points, the national team prediction is divided into "first half" and "final result." Totocalcio was created by Massimo Della Pergola, Fabio Jegher, and Geo Molo and launched in 1946 by the SISAL company. In 1948, it was taken over by the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS). Weekly revenue, after deducting the fixed fee for betting shops, is divided as a percentage between the prize pool, the state, CONI, sports credit, and management costs. From competition no. 20 of the 1950/1951 season, a thirteenth match was added to the predictions, and since 1994, other prediction contests have been added to Totocalcio, with varying success; since the 2003/2004 season, the outcome of a fourteenth match has been added. With the advent of electronic betting, the betting slip has changed appearance; here we still see it in its original daughter-count-matrix form. At the bottom of the betting slip is an advertising strip, a precursor to web banners. Competition no. 42, Italy, June 25, 1950.
