Discalced Carmelite, died in the reputation of a saint in the Carmel of Lisieux on 30 September 1897 at the age of 24. She was beatified in 1923 and proclaimed patron of the Carmelite missions. Canonized on 17 May 1925 and proclaimed patron of the Work of Saint Peter the Apostle for the indigenous clergy. Devotional image, Italy around 1925.
