caption: VELLETRI (Rome) very ancient city conquered by Rome by the work of King Ancus Marcius (641-617 BC) and then called Velitrae by the Latins. Coat of arms truncated, the first red with a castle with three Ghibelline towers, the second loaded with three natural laurel trees, the trunks intertwined with a red cord; on the border at the top the letters SPQV; on the sides and at the top the writing EST MIHI LIBERTAS PAPALIS ET IMPERIALIS. All supported by a double-headed eagle crowned in the ancient style. King's crown. Chromolithograph, Edition A. Brioschi & C., Milan circa 1935.
