caption: ROTTOFRENO (Piacenza) Once an important castle, now an agricultural center. Legend has it that the name is due to the fact that in this place Hannibal's horse took the hand of its rider, breaking the bit; the origin of the name is actually different but the coat of arms still depicts the animal: red shield, with the head and neck of a white horse, natural, moving from the left side, bridled, with a broken bit in its mouth, gold.
