The Mahatma once again uses the weapon of fasting to pacify the exasperated souls, and his peace proposals are finally accepted; five days after the publication of this magazine, he was tragically murdered in New Delhi by Nathuram Godse (May 19, 1910 - November 15, 1949), a Hindu politician, journalist and terrorist.
