caption: CASTLE OF BELFORT to Spormaggiore. The construction of the castle is datable to the 1311 year in which Enrico di Carinzia Count of Tirolo (1265 - 1335) granted eventual the authorization to erect a tower with adjacent buildings to Tissone notary public of Sporo and episcopal vicar. Tissone then was involved in the nobiliari fights of 1334 in Val di Non who will see it lined up beside Prince Vescovo of Trento. Morirà prematurely, in 1339, but the consequences of its choice will fall back on its descendants. The Thun, accounts of the Tirolo will announce publicly from principato its eredi that they will have to yield the castle in 1350. From then various noble dynasties they had the prorprietà of the castle, of which today the ruderi can be admired.
