caption: INDIANS Cornplanter (Kayethwahkteh or Kiontwogky - Beautiful Lake) great Seneca head of the Alloy of the Irochesi, been born in 1735 from a white trader, John O'Bail and from an Indiana Seneca. He fought the Americans during the War of Independence. But afterwards, along with Red Jacket, he signed the Treaty of Big Tree (the 1797) and Pact of Buffalo Creek with which the Seneca sold all the their territory to the government of the United States.
