caption: The Lupa of the lupercale nurses Romolo and Remo, ancient roman currency. The cove of the lupercale, dwelling of the lupa, was the place where festivities of the lupercali were carried out and, ancient rituals of 15 the roman religion celebrated February. On the origin and the interpretation of the carried out ritual, that it comprised the sacrifice of a goat and the race of two armed young people of obtained whips with the skin the scuoiata goat, the opinions were discordant already between the ancient ones. It can be assumed however that the propiziatorio ritual is legacy to the fertility, of the generation and the nature.
