caption: ITALY funeral of Rocco Girasole killed by the police on 13 January 1956 during the reverse strike, a demonstration of unemployed laborers who voluntarily carried out public maintenance work on the road made a river of mud by the recent snowfalls; in this way they highlighted, making themselves useful, both their own inactivity due to the failed promised distribution of the lands, and the length of time taken by the authorities in restoring the roads.
