BLESSED Annibale Maria Di Francia (1851-1927) Priest. His charism was that of the Rogate, that is, prayer and action in favor of vocations, but he did not dedicate his life only to the spread of this prayer, but sought to be a good worker first. As a young priest he dedicated himself to helping the poor, young people in difficulty and abandoned children of his Messina. His concern was not only to provide bread and work, but above all, to educate the person in a complete way, morally and religiously. In 1897 he founded the Rogationist Fathers of the Heart of Jesus and entrusted them with this work. Today they operate almost everywhere in the world, with initiatives to favor vocations through various pastoral activities and following in the footsteps of Father Annibale, their apostolate, in parishes and missions, becomes a work of evangelization, human promotion and assistance to the poor and in particular children and young people without families or in need.
