title: COLOR G - FEMALE NUDE IN WHITE AND BLUE

subject date: 2025-07-11

caption: ARBITRARY COLORS chromatic elaboration of a female nude: the woman is seated on the ground, on her heels; her back slightly arched, she leans back on her arms and shows her face in profile. Shades of blue, cyan, and white on a black background. The sophisticated process of arbitrary creative coloring was developed by Ando Gilardi (1921 - 2012) #andogilardi in the 1970s, a photographic technique of great expressive power and versatility, with results that can be defined as precursors of subsequent digital elaborations. Color G, Milan, 1973.
