The reliquia of unknown origin, it is considered to be the handkerchief with which Veronica dried the sweat of Christ during the Passion, it reached Manoppello in 1506, capacity presumablly from travelling disowning, than it delivered to the physicist and astrologer to it Giacomo Antonio Leonelli. The reliquia still conserved in the abruzzese country of Manoppello, the homonymous Sanctuary.
