caption: GESTURES Marcello Prando (22 October 1931 – 6 July 2005) interprets various terms in the language of popular dialect gestures: he shakes his hands with a serious and pleased air, his head slightly inclined and his mouth ostentatiously closed, meaning ''I have nothing to object, I'm satisfied''. The actor participated with other colleagues in the world survey on the value of the gesture in human culture promoted by UNESCO at the V International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences held in Philadelphia in 1956, and which for Italy was conducted by the anthropologist Romano Calisi (1931 - 1975) and the photographer Ando Gilardi. Subsequently, the director of the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions of Rome prof. Tullio Tentori (1920 - 2003), also an anthropologist, understanding the value of research, joined the group as conservator and archivist.
