NILE CROCODILE (Crocodylus niloticus) and Egyptian plover (Pluvianus aegyptius); according to an ancient tradition, the two animals share a relationship of mutualism, in which the bird feeds on the food residues left in the jaws and on the parasites that infest the large reptile, bringing it relief.
